Welcome
We have moved!!! We praise the Lord that He has allowed us to complete our new building on 300 Ballpark Road (behind Home Depot). We invite you to come worship with us this Sunday at 10:15 A.M. Bible Study for all ages starts at 9:00 A.M.
Emmanuel Baptist Church has been a light of the Gospel in Northeast Colorado for over 50 years. Located in Sterling, CO, we desire to see the Body of Christ grow in maturity and in number. We believe that the preaching of the Word, the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, prayer, and praising Him through singing are central to what God has called His church to do. Our Sunday service style of worship is contemporary and led by a talented praise team. We value coming together on the Lord’s Day to give Him the proper worship due His Name. We offer quality childcare for both services. Let us help you get connected to the Body of Christ here in Northeast Colorado. Join us this Sunday!

Service Times
We meet each Sunday at 9:00 AM for Bible Studies for all ages. Then at 10:15 our morning worship service begins. Pastor Sean is preaching verse by verse through the book of 1 Peter with a sermon series entitled “Strangers in a Strange Land”. We hope you will join us this Sunday for Bible study and worship. Be sure to visit our Weekly Schedule page for a more detailed listing of events at Emmanuel throughout the week.
The Joshua Project
Emmanuel places great value on the power of prayer and on missions. Missions exists because worship does not. The task of seeing new people become worshipers of God is monumental. It cannot be done in the absence of prayer. Emmanuel has “adopted” the Bagata peoples of India as a group that we specifically pray for on a regular basis. However, please take time to pray for any people group which you see appear here in the Joshua Project.
(The following is borrowed from the Joshua Project)
“Joshua Project is a research initiative seeking to highlight the ethnic people groups of the world with the least followers of Christ. The mission of Joshua Project is to help bring definition to the unfinished task of the Great Commission by identifying and highlighting the people groups of the world that have the least exposure to the Gospel and the least Christian presence in their midst. Joshua Project’s heartbeat is “to spread a passion for the supremacy of GOD in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ” (borrowed from Bethlehem Baptist Church.)”
