A01: Discovering Emmanuel Membership Class (7 weeks, Jan 24 – Mar 7)
Anyone who is interested in learning more about who Emmanuel is and what we believe is encouraged to attend this class. We will explore our doctrinal beliefs, our vision and mission, and our structure as a church. If you are new to Emmanuel, this is a great first step to connect. This class is required for membership.

A02: Total Church: A Radical Reshaping around Gospel and Community (Jan 24 – May 23)
This group will explore what is means to experience gospel community. How does our understanding of the gospel shape the way we live together as believers? How does the gospel shape our understanding of evangelism, missions, social involvement, discipleship, spirituality, and a passion for God? The themes of this class will be taken from the book “Total Church”

A03: A Fruitful Life: Growth Through the Spirit (Jan 24 - May 23)
Spiritually mature Christians will surely show the fruit of the Spirit of Christ in their lives. This study will look closely at the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We will closely explore one of the 9 fruits of the Spirit each week, offering a biblical definition of each fruit, looking at how they were exemplified in Christ’s life, and applying each one to our own spiritual walk.

A04: Pastor’s Sermon Series “Ephesians” for six weeks and then Explore the Bible series “Mark” (Jan 24 – May 23) – class geared toward Senior Adults
Using a study written by Pastor Sean to coordinate with his sermons, this group will dig deeper into the truths preached on Sunday mornings. The primary study will be through the book of Ephesians. After studying Ephesians, the group will explore the Gospel of Mark.

A08: Women’s Bible Study—Kay Arthur’s “Living Like You Belong to God”—(Jan 24 – May 23)
This women’s study will focus on what true holiness is and why it is essential to pleasing God and what the practice of holiness looks like in everyday life. This study addresses head-on the misconceptions many people have about how to live up to God’s standards and how true happiness travels hand in hand with true holiness.

A09: Women’s Bible Study—”Biblical Solutions to Personal Problems”—(Jan 24 – May 23)
Specifically designed for women, this study will address problems we all face such as anger, anxiety, conflict, envy, fear, finances, pride, lust, our speech, stress, and friendships. We will explore Biblical solutions to these personal problems and discover how God’s Word is reliable and powerful for our daily lives.

A10: New College and Career Group “Gospel Transformation” (Jan 24 – May 23)
Gospel Transformation is an inductive study on what matters most—our ongoing need for the transforming power of the gospel. This study will go straight to the heart, exploring such issues as: justification, repentance, forgiveness, compassion, and much more. This group is designed for college aged young adults as well as those in their early to mid 20’s.
