Emmanuel’s Leaders
Sean Cole – Lead Pastor-Elder
Sean and his family arrived at Emmanuel in May of 2005 from Colorado Springs. He has been in the gospel ministry for over 15 years. Sean is a graduate of the Rocky Mountain Campus of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. His wife, Dawn, loves Sterling and is connected in the local school district and she greatly aids Sean in the ministry–especially in the area of Women’s Ministries. They have two sons, Aidan and Zachary. Sean says that his primary goals as pastor of Emmanuel are 1.) To preach the Word faithfully. 2.) Lead the people to pray like crazy. 3.) Trust God to create a church of authentic relationships in true Biblical fellowship. 4.) Lead the charge in being evangelistic in reaching the community. And most importantly, Pastor Sean desires to lead everyone who is connected with Emmanuel to focus on the glory of Christ in the wonderful good news of the gospel.
